My response to AL Rokers MSNBC Blog.....
Though I am very understanding of a community being outraged by these comments, which I agree were extremely offensive, I AM HOWEVGER CONFUSED. The new double standard seems to be black, rappers and comedians insulting, and getting good laughs at the expense of white Americans. I am a realist and I say the standard should be set across the board, for what is deemed offensive or not. Personally I would like to know if you would offended be if I had a great idea to produce an all white TV station or awards show. IMUS was a not a racist as much as an a@#.
There is no statement trying to made here just , hopefully dialoge.

OK…. Al, I am for the very first time thinking that my time as a today show viewer has ended. I am very disappointed in your lack of understanding that there are many different personalities in YOUR business, these personalities make comments, start trends, defame, lie, all in the name of comedy, malice, news and entertainment. That includes media, comedians, musicians, and other entertainers. The great freedom that is being minimized here is that we have the right not to listen, watch or promote people we do not agree with. Lets face it this country is still years behind in our dealing with race, sex, and creed. We should though, voice respectable opinions for those we disagree with in order, to keep a civilized conversation flowing. I respect your finding of Mr. Imus’s comment’s offensive, as have I. I do however feel you are turning this into an inflammatory race issue, which will cause more harm then good. I would like to see this kind of uproar after watching BET’s comedy shows…hhhmmmm….Should they be taken off the air
